Never in a million years did I think I would be in the position. At the starting line of a higher degree by research with the goal of completing a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD). Yet here we are. As I write this (in a casual, non-academic way), I am excited and anxious- swinging between the two and visiting self-doubt along the way.
